French Decorated 18th Century Louis XV Period Gridiron

18th Century hand forged French gridiron, made of wrought iron. It is used to grill small pieces of meat quickly over the fire. Sometimes they are put in the fire or else on a trivet, depending on the size of the fire. The gridiron is in a good working condition.
