A George III Period 18th Century Brass and Iron Trivet with beautiful patina. With a hand cut brass plate on hand forged iron tripod base. Made during the late 18th Century. Perfect for the fireplace or as a plant stand. Wooden handle with a dry crack which does not affect the function or is visible from above ( see picture) Wear consistent with age and use
