Pair of Georgian Steel Tool Rests

About the Item

Fine pair of Adam style tool rests, the urn finials and balustrade shafts with etched decoration and standing on ogee legs and square feet. Originally used as rests for fire tools in front of the hearth, these could also serve as andirons in very small fireplaces.
