A polished brass decorative dog grate of serpentine form, the shaped wrought fire bars over pierced openwork fret set between tapering uprights. The decorative fireback with central urn detail. Extensive engraving to fret, wings and finials and rivet-work fire grill. Height of burning area: 9.13". Restored.
