About the Item

Custom handcrafted single panel bronze finish brass fireplace screen by California based Stone Manufacturing Company, late 20th century. Classic French design, decorated with floral swags within an intricately detailed cast egg and dart trimmed frame having rounded corners, handle, scrolled feet and supportive iron inner frame. The bronze finish was achieved through a hand applied technique and even plating over brass resulting in a rich, warm lustre. Color presents as a soft black with a hint of bronze. It was then finished with a custom formulated, baked on enamel for greater durability and scuff resistance. Stone Manufacturing is a family-owned company established in 1957. All of their screens are individually designed, created by artisans and fabricated/finished by skilled master craftsmen.
