18th century Amsterdam bluestone fireplace in Louis the Fourteenth style

About the Item

18th century Amsterdam bluestone fireplace in Louis the Fourteenth style. This mantle is made of the 'petit granite' quality of Belgian bluestone. This mantelpiece may have been stored for a longer period of time, giving the bluestone a matte appearance in a gray to light anthracite color. We chose to keep it matte because of its charming soft appearance. The bluestone could also be polished if desired to change the color back to dark anthracite to black. dimensions: h 125 x w 180 x d 41 cm internal dimensions: h 103 x w 140 cm
