Early 18th Century Pierre de Bourgonge Mantel Piece with Louis XIV Reference

About the Item

This antique fireplace is made of a rare grey shade of Pierre de Bourgonge stone from France. The mantel is decorated with a beautiful sunflower, the symbol of Louis XIV, also known as "The Sun King". This mantel piece was made in the early 18th century during his reign or just after. Dimensions: W 155 x D 30 x H 101 cm.
