About the Item
French Louis XV fireback with a coat of arms. On the sides are two fleurs-de-lys portrayed, also known as French Lilies, symbolizing the purity of nobility. The year of production, 1772, is also cast in the fireback.
The fireback is made of cast iron and has a brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter. The condition is good, no cracks.
