About the Item
Beautifully understated, hand-carved Louis marble fireplace, late 18th century French rouge marble fireplace. A very rare serpentine shaped frieze with scrolls to each end. Recessed panel moldings carved into both jambs and frieze which sets it off with a delicate finish.
