19th C Large Renaissance Revival Black Lacquer & Gilt Fireplace Screen Tapestry
About the Item
Fabulous and in amazing restored condition. Black lacquer finish with Gilt in the carved areas remains in top condition. Aristocratic family representative in the tapestry is very clean with minimal ageing. Silk tapestry on the back shows some age related wear. Base sits on flared legs and wood castors. A stunning piece of artistic furniture from the middle of the 19th century. This fireplace screen was brought back from Scotland by the previous owner. In excellent antique condition.
