19th Century Adams Style Fire Grate by Thomas Elsley

About the Item

An English Adam style fire grate in polished brass and wrought iron by 19th century renowned blacksmith Thomas Elsley. The ornate cut and pierced fret work beneath bowed wrought iron bars, flanked by brass wings. The supports tapering with matching finials above the bars. All with conforming brass beading and engraving. The shaped cast iron fireback with urn and drapery.
