Antique Polished Steel Fire Grate by Thomas Elsley London

About the Item

A large polished steel fire grate by Thomas Elsley London. The serpentine fluted pierced fretwork having beaded edging, flanked by engraved tapering supports with classical urn finials. The beaded wings and bowed burning bars again with conforming finials. The shaped fireback with urn and drapary decoration. A good quality 19th century english piece.
