19th century unique Empire style brown Bois-Jourdan marble fireplace mantelpiece, with a white statuary Carrara hand carved Roman Rosette on the centre tableau; Flanked Either side by columns; Finely carved lion heads, circa 1815. This marble was later used in parts of The Empire State Building.
