Original George IV Timber Hand Carved Fireplace Surround.
Recently Salvaged From A London Town House.
Beautifully Carved Rosettes Flanked On Each Capital, Finger Mouldings Lined Across The Centre Frieze, Swags Flowing Freely Within A Recessed Moulding On Each Jab Surmounted On Each Foot Block & Dental Mouldings Supporting To The Underside Of The Decorative Shelf. This Has Been Limed Washed To Allow the Carving Details To Be More Defined. Although A Great Example Antique Piece This Remarkable Has A Modern Fresh Feel.
This Fireplace Is Structurally Sound And There Are A Few Scratches Which Are Expected . We Offer This Excellent Mantlepiece In Its Original Condition.
