About the Item

An elegant antique English carved pine fire mantel, reclaimed from a property in Edinburgh. Dating from the early 19th century, this fireplace is an original of the late Georgian period, but will look suitably stylish in any era property with its simple details and bare wood finish. Features include a frieze tablet carved with a foliage garland and ribbons, egg and dart moulding, dentils and a defined dog leg opening.
