About the Item

An antique English Regency style fire mantel salvaged from a property in Yorkshire. This pine and composition fire surround is richly decorated. It has a simple yet elegant design to suit traditional and contemporary homes alike. The tablet depicts a neoclassical scene; four figures are collecting fruit from under a tree while stylised foliage moulds are handcrafted into the frieze and jambs.
