A French bolection style antique limestone fire surround, possibly dating from as early as the 17th century. This striking stone fireplace is of beautiful design and proportion, offering a large scale opening with soft curves to the shelf for an understated look to suit traditional and contemporary interiors alike. Over 400 years old, this spectacular antique fire surround has stood the test of time, instilled with a rustic, timeworn look from light weathering across the ages.     Good structural condition. Shelf has been historically repaired in 2 places. Originally it was partly set into a wall with 11cm visible depth but you could have up to 23cm visible once installed. 5 pieces. Needs fitting together with lime mortar.
