About the Item

An antique George III English pine fire surround salvaged from Hammer Hill House. Dating to circa 1780, this finely made fireplace displays carved lime wood decoration. The frieze is decorated with carved honeysuckle and acanthus, leaf patera above jambs decorated with foliate drops. With its natural wood finish and neutral colour, this Georgian style fireplace is simply striking, making a stunning feature for period and modern interiors alike.
