What a thing! This is one of, if not the finest example I have come across, I have never seen a Demi Lune Example before, having bought and sold hundreds of these over the years I can honestly say this is the first example of this form I have ever handled It will easily accommodate most large fireplaces, the seat pad is one huge bench top and its brand new, it has been upholstered in Premium Italian Russet hide leather, Russet is plain untreated leather which is significantly more expensive than standard pre-dyed hide, it is the traditional hide that would have been used in the Victorian era. After upholstery, the hide is hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed and finished External Dimensions Height:- 42cm Width:- 182cm Depth:- 44cm Internal Dimensions Width:- 165cm Depth:- 36cm are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
