An antique Louis XVI style chimneypiece
About
In statuary marble with bowed shaped frieze, the running frieze with alternating flower heads in roundels joined by foliate rings, above a deeply carved rope twist moulding. The stepped back jambs of ribbed ' S ' shaped consoles with rounded scrolls thickly decorated with acanthus and capped with squared acanthus blockings. Some staining to outside returns and shelf.
