About the Item
A beautiful French Louis XIV period, 18th century, original mantle piece in Rouge Griotte marble.
The marble was used in lots of historical landmarks in Europe as well as in USA. The marble is known under different names: Rouge Griotte Marble, Campan Vert marble, Campan Rubané marble from the south of France.
Restoration on the top shelf because of former upper mantel.
The mantle is extra deep and can be cut in depth.

- Condition:Refinished. Repaired: The mantle was original installed around a breast and extra deep. The shelf has beeb professionally restored. Images can be provided.
