Ceramic Mantel from the Iver Johnson Building, Fitchburg, MA

About the Item

A very beautiful ceramic tile mantel. We salvaged this ceramic mantel out of the famous Iver Johnson building in Fitchburg, MA. Thick and big with original crackling. These ceramic mantels were manufactured by the Hartford Faience Co. of Hartford, CT. Hartford Faience, founded by Eugene Atwood, was originally a partner with William H. Grueby of Grueby tiles. Two sizes available. Please see our other listing. Both sizes are available in pairs. Please note, this item is located in our Scranton, PA location.
