A 19th century English polished wrought iron firegrate. The decorative dogs with scrolled feet surmounted by barley twist shaft and ropework and scrolled finial to top. Rectangular burning area behind. Top quality ironwork. (Basket sizes of burning area - 22.5" wide x 12.5" deep). Width At Front: 1135 mm 44 ⅝" Width At Back: 635 mm 25" Height: 705 mm 27 ¾" Depth: 558 mm 22"
