A fine quality French Statuario marble fireplace in the Louis XVI style. The tapering jambs with carving throughout surmounted by carved capitals featuring cartouche and foliage. The frieze with carved scroll work throughout, flanked by carved rosette end blockings. Moulded breakfront shelf above. French, mid 19th century.
