About the Item
Fireplace, freestanding, burns wood or gas. By Preway Manufacturing, circa 1970s. This unit is the Preway Capris. A smaller size than the original Preway fireplaces by 8” in width and 6” in depth. See sidebar photo for visual difference in size.
It was designed to accommodate smaller spaces in a home study, basement, outdoor patio or deck. Due to its smaller size, it burns a more intense fire and heats up faster and with improved efficiency.
Stands 8 feet tall and with piping and includes mesh spark screen and grate. Gas fixture not included. Readily available at your local fireplace store.
For safe installation, it is important that you check local building codes and work with a professional fireplace installer.
