About the Item
A beautiful George III carved pine fire surround in the Adam style. Dating from between 1760 and 1780, this antique fireplace was removed from a private residence in Harrogate. It is a superb example of original Georgian design, the pine structure ornamented with ornate limewood foliage decoration and neoclassical urn carvings.
