A George III style Neo-Classical breakfront marble chimneypiece, in the manner of Robert Adam, the stepped shelf with dentil under-mould, the central tablet with classical urn and drapes of bellflowers to either side, the frieze, corner blocks and jambs with further detail carved in relief, on block feet. A modern piece reclaimed from a substantial property on Eaton Square. Dimensions: 148cm (58¼") High, 178.5cm (70¼") Wide, 25cm (9¾") Deep, Opening width 107.5 cm x 107.5 cm high, Outside jamb to jamb width 152.5 cm
