Large & Imposing English Antique Polished Steel Firegrate

About the Item

A large and imposing 19th century English polished steel firegrate with a Gothic influence. The turned cylindrical feet surmounted by elegant ball finials with teardrop tops, large burning area and arched back with polished steel moulding. An impressive piece. Measures: Width at front: 965 mm 38" Width at back: 635 mm 25" Height: 885 mm 34" Depth: 560 mm 22".
