Late Victorian Scottish Fire Grate in the Adams Manner

About the Item

A simple late 19th century Scottish polished fire grate in the manner of Robert Adam. A square back plate with scalloped sides, below, a polished fire apron mounted with splayed finials, a four barred curved fire front all supported on a pair of tall post standards further mounted by larger splayed finials. Scottish 1890c.
