Louis XVI Fireplace Mantel in Wood
About the Item
Very nice and pleasant wooden Louis XVI fireplace.
This fireplace comes with loads of patina and beautifully well aged gilded details.
The nice straight profiled topshelf rest on a super decorative frieze with elaborate gilded foliage in the center and a nice dotted gilded edge this all between two wonderful carved and gilded endblocks that rest on semi filled fluted jambs with gilded scrolled foliage in the middle of the jamb. This all above square and plain footblocks.
As can be seen in the pictures this mantel has a lot of wear but an overall great presence and patina.
Mantel is in one piece so super easy to install and quickly to be enjoyed.
