A superb pair of antique English Victorian solid brass fireside or mantel whippet dogs, circa 1880. These fine dog sculptures are a nice large size, solid and heavy, and well made with wonderful details. They retain the lovely original surface and patina and would be handsome adorning a fireplace or charming used as doorstops or bookends.
