Reclaimed Brown Glazed Ceramic Fire Mantel

About the Item

This is one of three similar antique fire mantels recently salvaged from a property in the East of England. It is most likely made by Doulton. It features a two-tone brown glaze. Please note that the opening is straight and complete. The images show a cut out where the original insert hood was in-situ during photography, this was not salvageable. Additional Dimensions Opening Height 83.5cm Opening Width 46cm Across the Foot-blocks 98cm.

    Good structural condition. It comes in 38 pieces. Traces of mortar residue. Some paint residue to the edges. It will require assembly & cleaning once fitted. There are some small chips and scratches associated with age and use. Insert not included.
