Reclaimed Victorian Wooden Fire Mantel

About the Item

A reclaimed Victorian wooden fire mantel dating from the early 1900s. This unusual surround features a boxy design that brings a streamline, uniform look to a room. The mantel and jambs are simply detailed with vertical grooving while decorative floral composition embellishments to the end blocks and beading to the mantel edge add a touch of elegance. Made in pine, this antique fire surround has a waxed finish and is in good structural condition with only minor wear associated with age and use. It is a beautiful surround for a Victorian property or contemporary spaces seeking period features.
