Centerpiece fountain with an octagonal basin in Rosso Verona marble and Greco Thassos marble.
Water flows from the center of the basin through a hole.
Dating to the late 17th century and sourced from the garden of a Venetian villa, it is supported by three beautiful cherubs.
The basin is octagonal, adorned with floral arrangements at the base.
Its shape makes it ideal for placing in the center of a large garden.
A truly unique lot, of exquisite quality. The marble is refined and exquisitely crafted, with a soft, fine grain.
The anatomy of the cherubs is perfect and precise.
Generously sized but well-proportioned, the weight is appropriate.
