About the Item
Huge Carved Stone Center Water Fountain Column Spout Basin Architectural Element . This exquisite large Carved water Center fountain with Basin of the late 18th Century Early 19th Century . The decades left its marks and a very nice patina that changes with the seasons . A Grand and imposing Architectural elements Focal center sculpture and water pool Basin coping . This water feature will be the focal point in any landscape design commercial and or residential palatial .
The fountain originally was with a dug out fountain basin in the ground, with a coping stone surround, then decades later they added two stone basins to it , to make it easy for the daily use at the time. then when we purchase it, we decided to take it back to the original design, of a center column with crown and the original carved urn that holds the crown in place with the right amount of weight. and we removed the basin, and we left the coping. so when you install it, you create the basin in the ground and you will have the coping to mount all around.
It is a piece of art , sculpture lion figures fountain Head Spouts on both Ends of the very Large thick and tall Center Column piece. It holds history and majesty in its proportions . Very versatile , it could be Mounted in a traditional provincial Italian Mediterranean French Spanish context in a winery at an entrance of your home , or in a farm Chateau house . For your Landscape design decor this Garden Architectural element is made of many Elements . A center pedestal column base with a very Large incredibly detailed Crown and on top mounted a huge Stone base topped with a Solid Urn Finial that steals the show. TWO sided fountain head of Lion face figures water spouts fountainhead . As seen in the pictures , we filled up the interior of the Wide Stone coping with Gravel temporarily in our showroom. When you install it, your contractor will create an in ground basin for you and then decorate it with the beautiful old stone coping.
As seen in the pictures and the video, The stone over the decades and the use, during the mounting and dismantling of the large stone blocks, you will find chips , nicks , losses etc .. overall a magnificent Huge Center fountain that will add a touch of charm and magic to your landscape.
The copings approximately 20 Inches wide and 4 inches thick / Crown Approx 41 inches diameter and column approx. 31 inches Thick
