Bar Harbor Style Wicker, Loveseat and Matching Rocker
About the Item
A matching Bar Harbor Style Love Seat and matching Rocking Chair from a Rhode Island Estate, American ,C. 1910.
They are presumably made by The Heywood WakefieldCompany based on the quality of their workmanship. The pieces are in a beautiful all natural finish. The six legged love seat is very comfortable and unique in its size. The rocker and sofa were designed with extra care to be very sturdy as both have supports under the front of the arms as well as designed with extra sturdy supports under the mid section of each arm.
The hand weaving of these pieces are exceptional .
The love seat is 36.5" Ht x 50" W. x 26" D. x 18" Seat Ht. and the Rocker is 33" Ht. x 27.5" W. x 31" D x 17" Seat Ht.
The upholstery is a beautiful stylized Art Nouveaux design and in excellent condition.
