About the Item
Iconic neoclassical style Amalfi tuxedo sofa bench or daybed attributed to Janus et Cie, Los Angeles, CA. Designed in the mid-century by Mario Papperzini for John Salterini. The garden sofa is hand-crafted from iron with a powder-coated finish and topped with newly a upholstered seat cushion and bolster in an all-weather fabric. The seat back and sides feature a geometric lattice design with round ball finials on the four corners. The sofa is supported by straight legs conjoined by x form stretchers. The sofa is heavy and solid in very good, well-preserved condition with a slightly aged patina on the finish. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. The sofa is located in our California warehouse ready for immediate delivery and installation.

Newly upholstered seat cushion and bolster pillow in an all weather fabric. Age appropriate wear with very light oxidation to finish that is difficult to see.
