About the Item

A spectacular 19th C Aviary in the form of a grand Chateau, 57" high x 54" x 40". It is very unique in that it consists of four separate cages within one large Aviary.The impressive four large turrets are designed to spin allowing seed and water to be added with out disturbing the beautiful winged tenants. Also the house is uniquely designed allowing the center sections the ability to be removed allowing the birds visitation privileges. The design also includes four screened doors for easy placement and removal of the tenants as well as, decorative faux painted attic doors.Supposedly this beautiful home at one point also had decorative awnings. This is an incredibly unique one of a kind item for the bird enthusiast or simply as a beautiful designed architectural model of the period for ones home or garden. This antique piece is in fair to good condition and has been in storage for over twenty five years.
