About the Item

Rare, late 20th Century Neoclassical Greco Roman Klismos Chaise Lounge, crafted from cast aluminum by Restoration Hardware. A modern interpretation of the 5th-century BC Greek design, constructed of cast aluminum. Klismos is distinguished by its graceful proportions, sweeping tapered legs, curved backrest and classical relief details. Adjustable backs have four positions and a wide ergonomic backrest. The generous slat bottom is supported by saber shaped klismos legs. Backs lie flat and lounges are sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Cast aluminum has rich patina that can vary from chair to chair. No cushions included. These are very heavy, solid and sturdy. The listing is for one item. We have three available.
