A Rare 5 Piece Suite of Arts and Crafts Wicker Library / Porch Furnishings

About the Item

This Is an early rare suite of Arts and Crafts wicker furnishings which were designed as being useful for home libraries or sunrooms. It is in excellent condition hand woven in the traditional styling of the arts and crafts period and is fairly rare design to find as far as early 20th C. wicker design is concerned. This unusual suite was acquired over 25 years ago from a Nantucket estate and was part of a large collection. The suite consists of a large chair and rocker a companion side chair and a desk / server with a pressed cane inlaid top with two side pockets - no drawer.. There may have been some minor professional restorations done prior to my ownership and the varnish finish has apparently been also professionally cleaned. It is a very good looking suite, part of my own collection and is in very good condition and ready to be used and enjoyed. 1. The large arm chair 41 " ht. x 27. " W. x 27 " D. seat Ht. 15" 2.
