About the Item
This classically designed bistro table is the perfect way to elevate any small dining space or bar room. Originally made popular during Paris’ Belle Époque, marble bistro tables such as this one, continue to be used in restaurants and bistros throughout France and other parts of Europe. This solid marble top and iron base table was constructed in the same manner as the originals, over 100 years ago. Features an antiqued, seamless brass band which encompasses the rim of the marble. The three foot base features the same detail taken from an original early 20th century French bistro table. The marble is securely fixed to the table using heavy duty steel prongs used under the table top to hold the marble to the base. Assembly is required. Suitable for use indoors or out. If used outside, tarnishing may occur to the brass band. Marble tops will have subtle variations from table to table.
