This is a Hollywood Regency mid 20th century wrought iron chaise lounge designed and manufactured in the USA by legendary John Salterini. John B. Salterini Company wrought iron furniture was and still is the pinnacle of high quality wrought iron furniture. It was designed for indoor as well as outdoor use. This chaise lounge has two large wrought iron wheels and a horizontal bar at the foot making movement very easy. The seat back has six positions. Handsome 1950-1960’s Mid-Century Modern Tropitone Kahana stackable chaise lounge w/vinyl straps & powder coated aluminum frame. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, all frames have been cleaned with soap & water but have some scratches & signs of wear & the straps have some yellowing from sun exposure, lotions, & use. Also, when the chairs are stacked the vinyl straps stretch but when un-stacked the straps return to their original form. In 1970’s they established operations in Irvine, California which provided a bi-coastal manufacturing to North American customers.
