About the Item
This beautiful Victorian American plant stand features a stylized fleur de lis cast decoration on both the front and the back of the stand. Rich in history and legendary, the Fleur de Lis is one of the most recognized symbols across the world. Representing either a lily or an iris. Its motif comes to us from a distant past and to this day still remains a mystery as to its origins. Essentially this symbol is a stylized flower that over time has been associated with royalty. Representing elegance and class, this enduring emblem has long been used as a decorative element home furnishings. This plant stand is situated on a circular food with a cylindrical body that has been embellished with cast floral borders on both the top and the bottom of the piece. This plant stand is a wonderful way to bring nature into the home in a refined manner.
