Giant South Sea Clam Shell
About the Item
Wonderful example of a giant clam shell from the Indian Ocean. The bleached white color and high profile of the scallops make this a distinctive centerpiece or decoration. This specimen is truly unique and rare.
The shell is in good vintage condition with the exception of some natural imperfections as this is a real clam shell in very good condition. Authentic large clam shell with graceful flowing lines and variegated organic colors. Natural Tridacna Gigas clamshell specimen from the South Pacific. This rare natural specimen with lustrous pinkish interior & beautiful exterior surface weighs about 150 lbs. There are 3 available, each sold separately. They work excellent as a group. Listing is for one shell. Magnificent in their scale, patina and texture. Superbly created by nature.
