Buyer Protection Guaranteed

A large finely modeled English garden statue of Apollo, of composition stone, featuring Apollo of the Hunt in a standing pose "in the round", with long bow and a quiver of arrows bag, cloak or robe, and his hound or dog at his feet. The whole on a raised square plinth base.

Apollo is one of the most important and complex of the Olympian deities in Classical Greek and Roman religion and Greek and Roman mythology.
The ideal of the kouros (a beardless, athletic youth), Apollo has been variously recognized as a god of music, truth and prophecy, healing, the sun and light, poetry, and more.

This god of archery had an early start on his art.
Apollo was just four days old when he demanded a bow and arrows, which Hephaestus created for him.
He immediately set out in pursuit of the serpent that Hera had sent to torment his mother, Leto.
The serpent, Python, sought refuge at Delphi.
But Apollo heedlessly followed Python into the shrine of the Oracle of Mother Earth and killed him there.

This garden feature is also great for a garden room or conservatory.
