Large, one of a kind Gothic plant or small tree stand. This handcrafted, historical, architectural and highly decorative work of religious art is another one of our once-in-a-lifetime-finds. We have owned two antique fonts before, but we have never seen an all handcrafted, brass Gothic specimen of this quality and beauty. If you look at, or rather study, the shape and the execution then you will notice that the workmanship is simply incredible. The depth in the relief and the perfect symmetry of this embossed and hand hammered antique is something that was rare even in the earliest years of the 1900s. In this day and age, you would not be able to find a craftsman capable of creating such a piece. It is for all these reasons and ofcourse because of the many children that must have been baptised in this ecclesiastical relic that this is both the perfect Gothic decoration and talking piece. With its initial purpose in mind, how could your plants of flowers not flourish in this sacred work of art.
