About the Item

Hand-crafted in the Late 19th Century, this pedestal was made from elm wood. The structure consists of a beautiful barley twist column with a square pedestal top and square base. Dimensions: 44 in. overall height 10.5 in. x 11 in. top 13.25 in. x 13.25 in. base Condition notes: In fair, stable condition with general surface wear to wood, including scratches and scuffs all consistent with the pedestal's age and use. The pedestal top has noticeable warping. Overall, this piece is a good candidate for restoration.
