This is an antique portrait bust stand. An English, oak jardiniere or torchere column, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.
Attractive antique stand, ideal for hosting a portrait bust or figure.
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout.
Select oak stocks show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues.
Square plinth top with a size of 12.5 cm x 12.5 cm (5'' x 5'').
Square section column with fluted detail above a tiered plinth foot.
Dressed to the base with a distinctive faux crocodile protective pad.
