Art Deco Mahogany and Rosewood Pedestal Stand or Side Table
About the Item
A rare find, this mahogany and rosewood stand was originally an ash tray from the famous Art Deco Capitol theatre in Bombay. These were salvaged from the iconic building before its being taken down. The ashtray portion has been filled in to accommodate a more versatile use. Great to use as a key drop near the door, a pedestal Stand for a sculpture or plant. 1920s. As of this writing we have two.
