Biedermeier Pedestal with Amphora Décor, probably Denmark, Late 19th Century

About the Item

Tall pedestal with a front-facing side and a rectangular platform (46 x 24 cm). The pedestal rests on a profiled base and transitions into a trapezoidal shaft. The front is adorned with an arabesque featuring a winged putto head, various fruits, and leaf tendrils. Side volutes lead into the intricately profiled capital with decorative friezes.
